The Little Princess

This is a poetic love story of star-crossed lovers. They met while a young boy named Anothai tried to save a drowning young girl named Dara. Sealed with a ring as a token of their friendship thus a timeless love began, one that will live in our hearts forever.

Tipparath Dara Kumarie, a precocious little Princess 3rd in line to the Throne, was born to be the Queen of Yasoton Province. Dara was brought up to be an aristocratic young lady. Free spirited, full of confidence, and smart, she always finds herself restless and filled with curiosity. All she wanted is to live a quiet life with her beloved Anothai.

A young soldier, Anothai, who was always aware of his duty as a protector of the land. Ever since he was born, he was taught and groomed with responsibility that one in his position must do for their country when called upon as his father had done before him. Top pupil in his class, admired by his peers, and loathed by his enemies, his future seemed boundless. But the only thing that mattered in life is his love for his country and his undying love for Dara.

While attending military school, Anothai befriended crown Prince Sithipawat. The only son of the current King of Yasoton and first in line to the Throne, the Prince was sent to military school in preparation for his bestrewn. A person born with a weak heart, he often needed looking after and duly pampered. Since he was born, the only thing he cared deeply about is the love he had for his little cousin Dara. He felt ill with his heart broken and later died upon learning the only person he loves more than his own life is in love with someone else.

The country was thrown into turmoil after the Prince’s death. The King has decided to give up the Throne due to his age. After Princess Kaekai, 2nd in line to the Throne, was used as a pawn in a political chess game and married off to Prince Chaiyun of the neighboring Province, the only person left to take over the Throne is Dara.

Ever since Dara’s true identity was revealed, Anothai always knew he and Dara can never be and would often remind himself of his place. Love from a far like a painter loves his painting on a wall... protect, love, and admire. When a coup to be rid of Dara failed, rumor was spread by the Prince Chaiyun and his wife Princess Kaekai about the secret love between Dara and Anothai. To assure Dara's place as the Queen of Yasoton as he had planned and protect her honor, Anothai came forward and accepted sole responsibility as a person of revoltion. In doing so, he committed treason and the only punishment for such crime is death. On the day Dara was crowned the first Queen of Yasoton and the eight line of succession of Leurd Kattiya, Anothai was executed.

"Chua cheevid kong Anothai ruk Dara pieng kae kondeow, ruk... ying kuo cheevid kong tuo aing... Dara jum wai na!" Anothai

“As long as there’s still breath in my body, Anothai is willing to serve Dala always” Anothai
